DIY POKE CAKES: KID FRIENDLY RECIPES
DIY Boston Cream Pudding Poke Cake Recipe and Tutorial from The Country Cook. I’ve made this as well as the Oreo Puddin’ Poke Cake below and almost like it better. All you need is cake mix, pudding, lots of milk and chocolate frosting - for the amounts needed of each go to the link. TIP: Make lots of holes all over cake for pudding to seep into. KID FRIENDLY RECIPE
The Oreo Puddin’ Poke Cake is in my top 2 most pinned posts. I hope The Country Cook is seeing lots of traffic from my blog.
DIY Fairy Bread Tutorial Eliza Ellis. I’ve seen other fairy bread, but not this pretty. I’ve never heard of this until I started seeing fairy bread DIYs popping up. Is this an Australian thing?
DIY Banana Dolphins from Luz’s Unique Creations on FB here. From her Facebook page:
First you find some nice and bright colored bananas with hardly any bruising on them. Then you wash them under water and dry them gently. Use a sharp knife and cut the stem all the way to the banana and a little past to make a smile and to be able to open them to put a grape into the opening. Take the knife and cut the bottom half off a little past the middle. I used some cream cheese to stick the banana in to keep it standing. You put the grapes around the dolphin and one into the mouth opening. I then took a brush and brushed some lemon juice into the opening so it doesn’t turn brown. The last thing is to add the eyes. You can use an edible marker, cloves stuck in, raisins, chocolate chips, or frosting. I used an edible marker.
This blog is for my crafting alter ego. I did lots of crafts with my very artistic mother growing up and continue doing them with kids now. I love really good kids' crafts that hold their attention and mine.
